Secure Remote Access Service Upgrade Scheduled

An upgrade to the Secure Remote Access Service (sremote.pitt.edu) has been scheduled during the normal system maintenance period on Saturday, February 4, 2012. This upgrade provides official support for Mac OS X Lion and resolves several minor software issues.
A software update will be required for those who use the Secure Remote Access Service in Network Connect mode on Windows workstations.
Administrative Rights
Most Network Connect users have administrative rights to their computers and will automatically receive the software update the next time they log in to the service.
Without Administrative Rights
Network Connect users who do not have administrative rights to their computers will need to download the "Secure Remote Access Update Installer" from the Software Download Service and have it installed by an IT support professional with administrative rights to their computer.
