Using Compatibility View in Internet Explorer 10

The most recent version of Microsoft's Internet Explorer web browser, Internet Explorer 10, comes bundled with Windows 8. Some websites may not yet work correctly in Internet Explorer 10, including the PittNet VPN (virtual private network) service. You can still use these websites in Internet Explorer 10 by turning on Compatibility View.

To turn on Compatibility View:

1. Click the Compatibility View button on the address bar.

Compatibility View off

2. The button will turn blue to indicate that Compatibility View is turned on.

Compatibility View on

Note: If the Compatibility View button doesn't appear in the address bar, the webpage has no issues displaying in Internet Explorer 10.
