ImageNow Upgrade will Require Updated Client Software

The upgrade of the ImageNow service that had been planned for July 12 has been rescheduled for Sunday, July 26. This upgrade will require an update to the client software.

On Sunday, July 26, the University's ImageNow servers and software will be upgraded to version 7.1. This upgrade will affect anyone who uses the ImageNow application to manage documents.

After July 26, you will have to download and install a new version of the ImageNow desktop client, available at software.pitt.edu, in order to manage your library of scanned documents.

Changes to Processes for Requesting Access to the Student and GL Marts

A new online process has been implemented to make requesting access to the Student Data Mart and GL Mart faster and easier. It keeps all the security and auditing benefits of the paper-based process while eliminating the need to print paper forms, obtain handwritten signatures, and fax forms to additional approvers.
