Maintenance to Resolve Intermittent Network Issue Will Affect Some Buildings This Weekend

Computing Services and Systems Development has scheduled maintenance work during the standard downtime period this weekend to resolve an intermittent issue affecting wired network service to some buildings on the Pittsburgh campus. 

The maintenance is scheduled to begin around 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 8 and will last approximately two hours. During this time, wired and wireless network service will be unavailable in the following locations: 

  • 400 North Lexington Ave (via 7500 Thomas Blvd)
  • 480 Melwood Ave
  • 530 Melwood Ave
  • 635 Clyde St
  • 5607 Baum Blvd 
  • 7500 Thomas Blvd
  • Alumni Hall
  • Bakery Square
  • Bellefield Hall & Annex
  • Cathedral of Learning
  • Clapp Hall
  • Craig Hall
  • Crawford Hall
  • Forbes Craig Apartments
  • Heinz Chapel
  • Information Sciences Building
  • Langley Hall
  • Life Sciences Complex
  • Music Building
  • Ruskin Hall
  • Sterling Plaza
  • Stephen Foster Memorial 

This maintenance is in addition to the scheduled maintenance already announced for October 7.
