Malwarebytes has pushed an update that resolves the issue with its anti-malware software that earlier today prevented some users from accessing the network.

If the update does not resolve the issue automatically, Malwarebytes advises users to shut down web protection, check for protection updates, and restart their computer.

According to Malwarebytes, the issue was caused by a malformed protection update that the client could not process correctly. Malwarebytes states they are going to overhaul how they publish protection updates to ensure an issue like this does not happen again.
