The digital certificate that the University uses for secure authentication to both wired and wireless PittNet services will be renewed during the standard downtime maintenance period on June 9.
Based on the results of our testing to date, the certificate renewal should be seamless. However, it is possible that some users may be prompted to accept the new certificate on their devices when authenticating to official Pitt services. It is safe to accept the certificate if you are prompted to do so.
