My Pitt (my.pitt.edu)

Overview

My Pitt (my.pitt.edu) is your personal guide to the Pitt experience! It's a central location for accessing University services, such as the Student Information System (PeopleSoft), My Pitt Email, the Software Download Service, CourseWeb, PRISM, and other enterprise systems.

Departments and other University organizations can request a My Pitt community page in order to publish information and offer custom applications to a specific set of users. Home pages are customized to meet the specific needs of students, faculty and staff. Targeted announcements on the My Pitt landing page keep students, faculty, and staff informed about University news, accomplishments, and events. Student applicants also have access to My Pitt resources.

You can manage your retirement plan elections and adjust your contribution percentages online at My Pitt. 

  1. Log in to My Pitt.
  2. Click My Resources at the top of the page.
  3. Select Human Resources.
  4. Click Retirement Plan Access on the right side of the page.

To view your current Benefit Selections:

  1. Log in to My Pitt.
  2. Click PRISM Login on the right side of the page.
  3. Click PHR Employee Self-Service.
  4. Click Benefits.

You can also view a wide range of benefits information by logging in to My Pitt, clicking My Resources at the top of the page, and selecting Human Resources.  There you will find details about:

To view your pay statements online:

  1. Log in to My Pitt.
  2. Click PRISM Login on the right side of the page.
  3. Click PHR Employee Self-Service.
  4. Click Pay Statement.

To enter weekly time sheets:

  1. Log in to My Pitt.

  2. Click PRISM Login on the right side of the page.

  3. Click PRISM TRKS Time.

  4. Click Time Entry.

To check time off balances:

  1. Log in to My Pitt.

  2. Click PRISM Login on the right side of the page.

  3. Click PRISM TRKS Time.

  4. Click Time Off Balances.

PRISM

PRISM

PRISM is the University of Pittsburgh financial information system. It not only enables you to enter time sheets and view benefit selections; it also provides access to financial transactions, travel & business expense reports, and more.

Log in to My Pitt and click the PRISM Login link on the right side of the page to access the system.

Financial information from PRISM is housed in the General Ledger Mart. Authorized users can access and analyze this information online using the Cognos Business Intelligence suite of tools.
