Software
CSSD provides a wide variety of software titles to students, faculty, and staff through the University's agreements with software vendors. Software is distributed through a number of channels:
- Software Licensing Services (SLS) distributes software to the University of Pittsburgh community through its on-campus office at 105 Bellefield Hall.
- Some no-cost software titles can be downloaded online through the Software Download Service
- Students can pick up the PittNet Complete CD and Microsoft Office at no cost from any campus computing lab.
- Faculty and staff can obtain security software at no cost through the Secure Your Data community at my.pitt.edu.
- More than 75 software applications are available to faculty through the Faculty Computing Program.
