This article walks you through getting started with Lecture Capture (Panopto) Recorder on a Windows-based computer.

Logging in

  1. Run the Lecture Capture (Panopto) Recorder from Start Programs Panopto Panopto Recorder.

  2. Type your University of Pittsburgh computing account and password, then click Submit.
    Note: Lecture Capture (Panopto) uses the Pitt Passport single sign-on service for multifactor authentication.
    Sign into Panopto using multifactor authentication

  3. Click Create New Recording.
    Click Create New Recording
    Note: You can change the default recording configuration>
