PeopleSoft Extended Maintenance Scheduled for Dec. 5-6

The Student Information System (PeopleSoft) will be unavailable during an extended maintenance period from approximately 8:00 p.m. Saturday, December 5 through 7:00 a.m. Sunday, December 6. Although an extended maintenance period has been scheduled during these times, the system will be returned to service earlier if work is completed ahead of schedule. This maintenance is necessary to maintain the stability and reliability of the PeopleSoft system.

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Webinar Recording Now Available

On October 22, Computing Services and Systems Development held the second in a series of educational webinars for University of Pittsburgh students, faculty, and staff. Representatives from Adobe provided a live training session on Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. You can view a recording of the webinar on Adobe’s Web site.

The webinar session explained how to:  

  • Combine and repurpose digital content—Work with native files, images, or PDF files and edit content on the fly
  • Edit scanned images—Easily convert any paper document to an editable digital document
  • Protect information—Prevent others from copying or editing sensitive content by using PDFs
  • Use task-based actions—easily create, standardize and automate complex processes
