Who can use OneDrive?

All student, faculty, and staff accounts can utilize OneDrive. Other types of accounts such as guest wireless, sponsored accounts, or alumni accounts cannot access OneDrive.

 


How do I access OneDrive?

Office 365 ProPlus and Office 2016

Office 2016 The University's Office 356 licensing agreement with Microsoft includes download privileges for Office 2016, Microsoft’s latest version of the “Office” suite of the full desktop PC (Windows and Macintosh) applications that includes Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Microsoft markets this package commercially as "Office 365 ProPlus."

Install the full Microsoft Office apps on your Android or iOS phone and on up to five different computers.

Access My Pitt Email with the IMAP Protocol

You can use the IMAP protocol to access your My Pitt Email by following the steps below. You may need to use the IMAP protocol if you access your email with the Thunderbird desktop email client or if you have a smartphone that does not support ActiveSync.

Recreate Your My Pitt Email Profile on Your Mobile Device

University faculty and staff are being moved to Office 365 Email. After the move, smartphones and mobile devices should automatically reconnect to My Pitt Email. However, you may need to recreate your profile to access your My Pitt Email.
