Request Service
Department administrators request new phones and changes to phone service using the Telecommunications Service Request form. You will want to review the currently offered models below and the advanced services that are available before submitting your request. Once we receive your request, an analyst will follow up and consult with you to determine which phone models and services best meet your needs.

Available Phones
The University offers three feature-rich phones.
Model 6220

This basic analog phone supports a single phone number and includes 10 programmable buttons for speed dialing.
Model 6221

This basic analog phone supports a single phone number and includes 10 programmable keys for speed dialing and a 2-way speaker phone.
Model 2420

The full-features phone is a digital, multi-line telephone. The set includes 26 programmable and standard buttons and a large 3-inch display which enable a variety of features to increase productivity including:
- Caller ID Display
- One-button features: redial, hold placement, transfer, mute and conference call setup, send-call to voicemail, voicemail retrieval
- Programmable speed dial buttons
- Control volume
- 2-Way Speaker phone
- Capability for a hands-free head set.
Model 2420 Quick Reference Guide
Model 6210

This feature-rich phone is a digital, multi-line telephone. The set includes:
- 10 multi-function keys
- Tilting LCD display: 2 rows, 24 characters wide
- Dedicated function keys: conference, transfer, drop, hold, speakerphone, mute, volume
- Speakerphone for hands-free communications
- Last Number Redial
