Recording via a Web Browser is Coming to Lecture Capture (Panopto)

Starting Wednesday, Oct. 28, Panopto—the service provider for Lecture Capture—will enable Panopto Capture for creators to record audio, video, and screens or application windows using several popular web browsers. Panopto Capture:

  • Records content using current versions Chrome, Edge (Chromium-based) and Firefox browsers only
  • Runs on Windows 10, MacOS 10.15 or higher, or the latest ChromeOS
  • Requires no download

To get started, log in to Lecture Capture, click the Create drop-down list at the top of your Panopto home page, then select Panopto Capture. Additional information about creating Panopto Capture videos is available from Panopto Support.
