Getting Started with EndNote

Overview

Beginning July 1, 2022, new EndNote licenses will require payment of an annual fee — currently $50 per user, per license — and expire the following year on Sept. 30.

EndNote is the University's standardized bibliography tool for students, faculty, and staff. It enables users to search online bibliographic databases, organize references, and create and format instant bibliographies. Work with Microsoft Word using a built-in integration interface. It also contains a traveling reference library that follows the document for easy collaboration with others.

Key Benefits:

  • Write faster — automatically create, format, and update bibliographies with the convenience of remote access.
  • Stay organized — create rules to automatically organize references as you work and use the Tabs feature for easier multitasking.
  • Work anywhere — access your research anytime, anywhere from the cloud.
  • Collaborate easier — share selected groups of references, manage team access, and track activity and change.
  • Get published — match your paper with relevant, reputable journals.
