An exciting change is coming to Pitt in the Summer of 2020, as we transition from CourseWeb (Blackboard Learn) to a better, more modern Learning Management System (Canvas).

This enhancement is a direct result of a unanimous recommendation following a comprehensive assessment conducted by a committee of faculty, staff, and students from nearly every department and across all campuses. What’s more, Canvas is the dominant LMS among our peer schools in the Association of American Universities.

Vendor maintenance will be performed on the Student Information System (PeopleSoft and PeopleSoft Mobile) beginning at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23. This work is expected to last until 7 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24.
