TeamDynamix Unavailable Overnight Oct. 18-19 During Maintenance

TeamDynamix, which includes Pitt Information Technology’s Services Portal and Knowledge Base at services.pitt.edu, as well as the TDAdmin, TDNext and TDClient services will unavailable from midnight to 4 a.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 19, while the vendor (TeamDynamix) performs a system upgrade.

All users of TeamDynamics and TDX should save any work and exit the system prior to the maintenance window, as access to TeamDynamics will go offline without notice. This includes Pitt IT, the Technology Help Desk, Logicalis, Health Sciences Information Technology, Project Management users, and University of Pittsburgh affiliates.

The outage period was determined by the vendor. To ensure a smooth transition, testing will take place prior to the outage, and the vendor will monitor the service post-implementation, as minor patches may need to be applied during the week following the outage.

This upgrade, which will be managed by the vendor, will help to ensure high levels of availability, secure work environments, and continued reliability and stability of the system.
