Pitt Print Stations (Pharos) are adding Touchless Printing on the Pittsburgh campus, allowing students to manage print jobs from a mobile app without ever touching the printer.

To get started:

• Download the Pharos Print app from the Apple App Store or Google Play by searching for "Pharos Print" by Pharos Systems International. The app is also available from the Pitt App Center.
• Configure the app and send a job to print using these instructions.
• Go to a Pitt Print Station, open the app, tap the QR code icon in the upper right corner, then scan the Print Station’s QR code
• Review or change the job details, then print out your jobs

You can also take advantage of Touchless Printing without installing the app. Simply use the camera on your mobile device to scan the QR code, which will open My Print Center in a web browser. Note that from the web app you can’t select individual jobs to print or change print job settings.
