Pitt Information Technology is merging the University’s two PittNet Wi-Fi networks—Wireless PittNet and Wireless-PittNet-Fast—on Friday, June 19.

The combined network uses the familiar Wireless PittNet name. It simplifies the experience of connecting to PittNet Wi-Fi while delivering the same speed and reliability of the previously separate networks.

After June 19, you should connect to Wireless PittNet for PittNet Wi-Fi service on all campuses. If you previously connected to Wireless-PittNet-Fast, we recommend you use the “forget network” feature to remove it as an option from your device.
