Pitt Information Technology is pleased to share that technical support for the University’s Learning Management System (Canvas) is fully transitioning to the Technology Help Desk effective in mid-June.
The scam appears to originate from a University email address.
PeopleSoft, PeopleSoft/HighPoint Campus Experience, and PeopleSoft Mobile will be unavailable during vendor maintenance scheduled for the Student Information System beginning at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 21. This work is expected to last until 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 22.
If you call the Pitt Police during the 5-minute transition and are not connected, please hang up and dial 911.
Pitt IT recommends that users immediately install the necessary security updates via Microsoft's Windows Update feature.
